My husband, amongst many spouses out there, hates the whole idea of "wastebook" so much that little laser beams shoot out his eyes and smoke comes out of his ears every time someone mentions it. So whether I like the tool or not, it becomes more stressful than it is useful. Now some of you would maybe give up the husband first- Duke is worth alot more than social media to me. To avoid air you can cut with a knife at my home, I deleted my social media sites.
So for anyone out there who'd like to keep in contact with me without the use of facebook or twitter ('cause it's just as well to get rid of all as some), I am a pretty good correspondent by email and post.
You can 'like' or 'follow' Norton's Cove Studio by becoming a subscriber to our mailing list. Just send me your email or mailing address, and I'll send you an update on what's going on at the studio every month or so.
It'll be interesting to see how many times this post gets noticed. I'd wager a tenner on a tiny fraction of the number of people who 'like' my facebook page.

Sorry to see you leave. I always followed your posts - it's how I knew you had a show on in Bonavista (which we thoroughly enjoyed). But yes, a good marriage is worth way more than tweets. :-)
Will you be eliminating the blog, too?
Ugh, sad to see you go so soon! In my heart of hearts I'm not a fan of all aspects of FB, but the far-and-wide friends that it's allowed me to reconnect with (in however small snippets) makes the aggravation worth it. It also allows me to keep in better contact with what's going on in my city/province (i.e. the local music scene). At least that's what it gives me.
Follow your instincts - ya gotta do what ya do ;)
I won't be deleting the blog- it's my website.
Okay, so I caved. I'm back on Twitter. You can follow me @NortonsCove
