Here's the set up at my studio today, as I add shimmery watercolour to the new Holy Mackerel prints...

I'm hoping to have them ready to be available for purchase at the Christmas Craft Fair next week, matted and/or framed.

Every time I say Mackerel, someone else says Holy Mackerel, or I think it.  So I looked up the term online as I was curious where this phrase comes from.  Some think it's just cleaner replacement for Holy Moses.  Others say it goes back about 200 years, to a time when it was a popular & affordable fish for Catholics who ate only fish on Fridays.
