SURFACING at Trinity September 13 2015, 0 Comments

Today I'm in the beautifully historic town of Trinity, in Trinity Bay, just the next bay south of my own Bonavista Bay.

I'm setting up my SURFACING works in an exhibition space at the Lester-Garland House.  In the meantime, we're enjoying the little town- it has tons of old charm in its picket fences, lovely gardens, wooden clapboard and detailed trimwork.  Kudos to the town councilors who made the decision to protect the built heritage of Trinity at a time when most towns in Newfoundland were bulldozing old buildings as fast as they could.

A couple of nice meals at the Dock Marina and the Trinity Mercantile make them recommended stops if you are in the area.
